Write instantly
A new note opens with the keyboard ready. Every character is saved automatically — there is no save button to forget.
Simple formatting
Headings, bold, italic, bulleted and numbered lists, and checklists. Formatting is one tap away and never slows you down.
Folders and pins
Keep notes in folders, pin the ones you use most, and sort by date edited, date created, or title.
Fast search
Search titles and content across every folder. Turkish characters are matched naturally: ışık, isik and IŞIK all find each other.
Export anywhere
Share or save any note as PDF, Markdown or plain text, or send it as text to another app in one tap.
Nothing is lost
Deleted notes go to the trash for 30 days, and every deletion can be undone. One-file backup and restore make moving phones easy.
Private by design
Privacy is not a setting in Plainly. It is how the app is built.
- No account. Open the app and write. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No internet access. Plainly does not request internet permission, so it cannot connect to any server.
- No tracking. No analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no third-party data collection.
- You decide when notes leave. Notes leave your phone only when you share, export or back them up yourself.
Your notes, in open formats
Notes are written in a small, readable subset of Markdown, so exporting is lossless and your words are never locked in.
