In short: Plainly does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal data. Your notes stay on your device. They leave it only when you choose to share, export or back them up.
1. Summary
This Privacy Policy explains how the Plainly app for Android (package name xyz.atlascodefy.plainly) handles information. Plainly is designed to work entirely offline. It has no user accounts, no cloud synchronisation, no advertising and no analytics.
2. Who we are
Plainly is developed and published by Aconia Labs ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@atlascodefy.xyz.
3. Information we collect
We do not collect any information. Specifically:
- Plainly does not request the Android internet permission, so it cannot send data to us or to anyone else.
- There is no account, sign-in, email address or phone number involved in using the app.
- The app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, attribution or tracking software development kits (SDKs).
- We do not receive your notes, your folder names, your settings, device identifiers, location or usage statistics.
4. Data stored on your device
The notes, folders and settings you create are stored in a database inside the app's private storage on your device. Other apps cannot read this storage. The database is protected by Android's built-in device encryption when your device is locked; Plainly does not add a separate layer of encryption or an app lock.
5. When data leaves your device
Your notes leave your device only as a direct result of an action you take:

| Create backup | All active notes and folders are written to a single JSON file at the location you choose. The backup file is not encrypted; keep it somewhere safe. |
| Android system backup | If backup is turned on in your device settings, Android may include the app's database in your device backup (for example, a Google account backup) and in device-to-device transfers. This is operated by your device and Google, not by us. You can turn it off in your Android settings. |
6. Retention and deletion
- Deleted notes are moved to the in-app Trash and are permanently deleted automatically after 30 days. You can restore them, or delete them permanently, at any time before that.
- Files prepared for sharing are kept in the app's temporary cache and are removed automatically after 24 hours.
- Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes all notes stored by the app on that device. Backups you created and files you exported are not affected.
- Because we never receive your data, we hold nothing about you that could be retained or deleted on our side.
7. Permissions
Plainly does not request any Android runtime permissions (such as storage, camera, contacts, location, notifications or internet). Saving and opening files is done through the Android system file picker, which does not require a storage permission.
8. Children
Plainly is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) give you rights over your personal data, including access, correction and deletion. Since we do not collect or hold personal data through Plainly, all of your notes remain under your control on your device, where you can view, edit, export or delete them at any time. 10. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, embedded third-party content or externally hosted fonts. Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages may process standard technical information such as IP addresses and browser type in server logs, for security and operation of the service. We do not use this information to identify or track visitors.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you, and we do not share them with third parties.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the app gains new features. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If a change affects how your data is handled, we will describe it in the app update notes before it takes effect.
