Reporting a problem

To help us find the cause quickly, please include:

• Your phone model and Android version.
• The Plainly version, shown in the app under Settings → Version.
• What you did, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead.

Please do not send the contents of private notes unless they are needed to reproduce the problem.

Quick help

Back up your notes

Settings → Create backup, then choose where to save the file.

Restore from a backup

Settings → Restore from backup, then select the backup file. Notes from the backup are added to your existing notes.

Recover a deleted note

Tap Undo right after deleting, or open the menu (⋯) on the home screen → Trash → tap the note → Restore.

Export a note

Open the note → ⋯ → Export, choose PDF, Markdown or Plain text, then Save or Share.
